This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made directly through TranscriptPort.

1. Free plan
TranscriptPort currently provides up to five free meeting exports from an eligible connected Fathom account.
No payment card is required for the Free plan.
The Free plan allows users to test:
- Account creation
- The Fathom connection
- Meeting loading
- Meeting filters
- Meeting selection
- Supported content
- Export formats
- Downloaded output
- The general export workflow
Because no payment is collected for the Free plan, no refund applies to free usage.
2. Paid purchases are generally final
Purchases of Founding Lifetime Access and other one-time digital-access plans are final and non-refundable once paid access has been activated.
TranscriptPort does not provide a standard:
- 14-day refund period
- Change-of-mind refund
- Trial-after-purchase refund
- Partial refund for unused access
The Service provides immediate access to digital export functionality that may allow a user to export some or all eligible meetings shortly after purchase.
Users should test TranscriptPort using the five free meeting exports before purchasing.
3. Why there is no standard refund period
TranscriptPort is a low-cost digital utility sold through a one-time payment.
After paid access is activated, a user may immediately use the Service to export a complete eligible Fathom meeting library.
Because the functionality may be substantially consumed immediately, TranscriptPort does not provide discretionary refunds after activation.
This policy does not exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
4. Circumstances where refunds are not normally provided
A refund will not normally be provided because:
- You changed your mind
- You did not use the paid access
- You did not use the Free plan before purchasing
- You exported only some of your meetings
- You exported your full eligible meeting library
- You no longer use Fathom
- You leave your employer or organisation
- Your organisation restricts meeting access
- Your Fathom account does not contain the meetings you expected
- You do not have permission to access particular meetings
- You purchased the wrong plan
- You expected a feature that was not listed at purchase
- A future integration is not included
- A future premium feature is priced separately
- TranscriptPort later introduces monthly or annual pricing
- TranscriptPort later offers a lower price
- A promotion becomes available after your purchase
- A third-party provider changes its API
- A third-party provider restricts access
- You are dissatisfied with ChatGPT, Claude, NotebookLM, a CRM, or another destination service
- A destination service does not accept the exported file
- Your device, browser, internet connection, or storage causes an issue
- You failed to download or retain an available export
5. Limited exceptions
Mobinyze may provide a refund, payment correction, or other appropriate remedy where:
- A refund is required by applicable law
- The same purchase was charged more than once
- A verified unauthorised transaction occurred
- TranscriptPort could not correct a genuine paid-access problem within a reasonable period
- A mandatory statutory consumer remedy applies
The appropriate remedy may include:
- Fixing account access
- Restoring the paid entitlement
- Correcting a billing error
- Reversing a duplicate payment
- Issuing a full or partial refund where required
6. Requesting a billing review
To report a duplicate charge, unauthorised transaction, or access problem, email: support@transcriptport.com
Include:
- The account email address
- The purchase date
- The payment receipt or transaction reference
- A description of the issue
- Screenshots or error messages, where relevant
Mobinyze may request reasonable information needed to investigate the payment or account issue.
7. Founding Lifetime Access
The current Founding Lifetime Access purchase applies only to the TranscriptPort Fathom integration.
Existing valid Founding Lifetime customers will retain the included Fathom access without being automatically moved to a recurring subscription.
TranscriptPort may introduce separate pricing for:
- Future integrations
- Premium features
- Automated exports
- Scheduled exports
- Browser extensions
- Team plans
- APIs
- Cloud syncing
- Shared workspaces
- Enterprise functionality
- Additional services
The introduction of these plans or features does not create a right to a refund for an earlier Fathom lifetime purchase.
8. Meaning of lifetime access
“Lifetime” refers to the operational lifetime of the supported TranscriptPort Fathom integration.
It does not guarantee:
- Operation for the natural lifetime of the purchaser
- Permanent existence of TranscriptPort
- Permanent availability of the Fathom API
- Access to every future TranscriptPort product
- Access to every future meeting-provider integration
The Terms of Service contain the complete Founding Lifetime Access conditions.
9. Future subscriptions
TranscriptPort may offer monthly or annual subscriptions in the future.
A future subscription will have separate terms covering:
- Billing frequency
- Automatic renewal
- Cancellation
- Expiration
- Refund eligibility
A future subscription will not replace an existing valid Founding Lifetime Fathom entitlement unless the customer expressly agrees to a different arrangement.
10. Payment disputes and chargebacks
Please contact support@transcriptport.com before initiating a payment dispute so that Mobinyze has an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Mobinyze may suspend access associated with:
- Fraudulent payments
- Improper chargebacks
- Reversed transactions
- Unauthorised payment activity
Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising rights available through their bank, payment provider, or applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
Mobinyze may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
The updated policy will show a revised “Last updated” date.
A policy change will not retroactively convert an existing Founding Lifetime Fathom entitlement into a recurring subscription.
12. Governing terms
This Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of the TranscriptPort Terms of Service.
Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory right under applicable law, the mandatory legal requirement will apply.
